Temperatures in Putrajaya reaches a high of 33°C during the day and the temperature declines to 24'C at night. The humidity level in Putrajaya is about 75% per year. However, it is during the months from March to September, the weather is on the dry and warm side. The rainfall each year is around 3300 mm and 4600 mm depending on the location. The wettest months in Putrajaya are during the periods of November to February.

In Putrajaya, there are many places to dine. There is the Old Town café, Black Canyon Restaurant, Palm Hill Cafe, Kelab Tasik Putrajaya and many more. The Palm Hill Café is located inside the Shangri-La Hotel, Putrajaya. It serves great Thai delicacies in an ambience that you can never forget. At the Kelab Tasik Putrajaya, you can enjoy a hearty buffet beside the Putrajaya Lake. This would be a relaxing meal for families as well as couples.

Activities

There are several outdoor activities to do when in Putrajaya. One of them is cruising on Putrajaya Lake. While on the cruise, you can enjoy the view the magnificent vistas around the area of the cruise. These include the Putrajaya Bridge, Putrajaya Mosque and the government administrative buildings. The cruise is fully air conditioned and is able to seat up to 76 persons. There are also open air boats for smaller groups of people.

Another great place to visit is the Putrajaya Botanical Garden. It is located at the northern part of the Precinct 1. The park is created as a national sanctuary for the purpose of Malaysian plant taxonomy as a center for research and education. Features of the park include the Canopy Bridge, Heliconea Trail, Sun Garden, Explorer's Trail and many more. It is also the largest botanical garden in Malaysia that covers 92 hectares. At the moment, the park has over 700 species of flowering plants, local plants as well as plants from the Africa and Asia-Pacific regions.

The Putrajaya Wetlands Park is also one of the places to visit when in Putrajaya. It is the first man-made wetlands in Malaysia which is more than 2000 hectares in size. The park is an 18-meter lookout tower, nature trails, picnic areas and many other features.
