The Botanical Garden is located at the north of Precinct 1, Putrajaya. Putrajaya being the capital for federal administration has many more to offer like the Agriculture Heritage Park and the iconic Putrajaya Bridge. In the midst of the federal building, Botanical Garden serves as the national sanctuary for the plant taxonomy as well as educational and research platform.

Overview

The garden is divided into 5 themes, where you will be amazed by different experience and fun. The Explorer's Trail, as its name implies, has the Visitor's Interpretive Center where you can get educational information about the varieties of plants around. Walk along the Canopy Bridge and enjoy the Heliconias plant such as banana around. The Palm has more than 50 variety of palm tree around. You will see many enjoy sitting around reading a book or picnic while enjoying the gentle breeze.

The Sun Garden houses flowers that grow well in bright sun. The flowers here react differently according to the time of the day. The Floral Garden has many varieties of plants from different regions of the world, including Africa, America and Asia Pacific. The Lakeside has the national flower of Malaysia, Hibiscus. Towards the end of the trial, you will see the fern that believes to be around billions years ago. You can rent a bicycle to cycle around the park and enjoy a good exercise while admiring the beautiful flowers around.

By Car

Take Cityliner 868 from Sinar Kota, Kuala Lumpur to Putrajaya. Upon arriving at the Putrajaya bus station, take a Nadi Putra Bus to the Botanical Garden.

By Train

Take the ERL KLIA transit train from KLIA or KL Sentral Station. Upon arriving at the terminal, take a Nadi Putra bus to the garden.
